Anna Pajor earned her Master in Mathematics at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow in 1999, and since then has been working at the Cracow University of Economics (UEK), where she completed her Doctorate in Economics (2003) and Habilitation in Economics (2011). In 2009–2010, she also headed (part time) the Analytical and Prognostic Team at the Economic Institute of the National Bank of Poland. Since 2013, she also has been teaching (part time) at the Institute of Mathematics of the Jagiellonian University. Currently, she holds a Professorship of UEK at the Department of Mathematics. Her scientific interests cover time-series modelling, econometrics and Bayesian statistics, and their applications in economics and finance.
